Marketing Communication of Dejvice theatre from 2010 to 2020

This bachelor's thesis is focusing on development of the marketing communication of Dejvické divadlo between 2010 and 2020 and factors influencing audience motivation to visit this theatre. Specificaly it is focused on six media titles - the recording of production of Teremin, movies Díra u Hanušovic and Kvarteto and series Čtvrtá hvězda, Dabing Street and Zkáza Dejvického divadla. Theoretical part describes historical context of existence and functioning of Dejvické divadlo and defines marketing methods used in art marketing and theatre marketing based on the literature. Practical part analyses marketing tools and methods used by Dejvické divadlo during examined period and presents results of quantitative research focused on image perception of Dejvické divadlo and possible influence of mentioned media projects, which members of art ensemble of Dejvické divadlo participated on.
Dejvické divadlo - Transformations of production poetics on the Prague cabinet drama theatre scene between 1992 and 2007

This thesis deals with fifteen seasons of Dejvice Theatre within the years 1992-2007 with special focus on two ensembles for which the Dejvice Theatre became the home scene. The first ensemble was formed by ALD DAMU students under the direction of Jan Borna. After its leave the ensemble has been replaced by yet another ALD DAMU students' ensemble this time under the direction of both pedagogue and director Miroslav Krobot. The goal of the thesis is to point out the transformations of production poetics within the fifteen years in which the two mentioned ensembles have acted in Dejvice Theatre.
Chekhov's Seagull in Dejvické and National Theatre

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the description and analysis of two different performances of the play The Seagull by Anton Pavlovich Chekhov. It focuses on the similarities and differences in director's approach of Michal Vajdička (Dejvické divadlo) and Michal Dočekal (National Theatre of Prague) and it particularly accents interpretation of chosen characters from the play. As a part of analysis itself it puts side by side different approaches of directors in particular situations and it comes to constitutive conclusions, which are summarized at the end of the thesis. The overall conclusion is, that despite the fact, that the directors' approaches is differ, the themes stressed by the directors are almost the same.

The analysis of Dejvické theatre

This thesis argues for public financial support the theatres. There are described various types of organizations of the public and the private sector which are supposed to operate in this field. The main attention is focused on two forms which belong to the public sector, these organizations are the allowance organization and public benefit organization. Theirs differences, advanteges and disadvanteges are compared with a view to the financing sources. The last part of the thesis deals the analysis of Dejvické theatre as allowance organization and public benefit organization dutiny the years 2001 - 2007. The analysis regards to the change of the legal form of this theatre in 2004.
